About the destination: Niagara Falls, Ontario, is the self-proclaimed "Honeymoon Capital of the World." For hundreds of years the grandeur of the Falls of the Niagara River have attracted many to this destination. Niagara Falls is also considered by some to be one of the most romantic places in the world. Mainly a tourist destination, the main attraction has always been Niagara Falls, which brings hundreds of thousands of tourists to the city. Visitors seeking natural settings are finding the Niagara River to be a great place to hike and visit downstream from the Falls where the majority of visitors go. Most visitors' first view of the Falls, from the Canadian side of the river, is at Queen Victoria Park, along the Niagara Falls Parkway. Constructed in the 19th century, the beautiful Notre Dame Basilica is among the surviving churches of Ottawa. A UNESCO world heritage site, the Rideau Canal offers excellent views of the city. In winter time, it's transformed into a massive skating rink. The Basilica Notre Dame de Quebec is the oldest church in the Americas north of Mexico. The Museum of Civilization is a great place to learn about the Aboriginal peoples of Quebec. One can't come to Quebec City and not catch a street performance. The city celebrates its performers and you'll often find acts taking place in the town square and parks. Grab a seat for some live entertainment and don't forget to leave a tip at the end.

Quebec City is the political capital but Montreal is the cultural and economic capital of Quebec and the main entry point to the province. Rich in culture, Montreal is big enough to have many great activities and small enough to be friendly and welcoming.
