Picture three minuscule islands, fringed by white-sand beaches and coconut palms, sitting in a turquoise sea. These islets have exploded in popularity, and are booming like nowhere else in Indonesia. It’s not hard to understand the Gilis’ unique appeal, for a serenity endures (no motorbikes or dogs!) and a green consciousness is growing. Each island has its own special character. Trawangan is by far the most cosmopolitan: its bar and party scene vibrant, its accommodation and restaurants close to tropical chic. Gili Air has the strongest local character, the best beaches, and lovely views of Rinjani, Lombok’s volcano. Meno is simply tranquillity. But all have 1 thing in common; they are incredibly hard to leave. During this tour you will visit all 3 of the famous ‘Gili’s’ near Lombok.

Day 1: SOUTH BALI – SERANGAN/PADANG BAI HARBOR – GILI TRAWANGAN
Our private transfer will pick you up from your hotel in South Bali at 6.30 am to take you to Serangan or Padang Bay to catch the speed boat which departs at 8.00 am to Gili Trawangan. Arrive at Gili Trawangan for a direct transfer to the hotel with local transportation. Rest of the day at leisure. (Due to early pick up we recommend you to arrive one day before in order to be able to participate in the tour).
Overnight in Gili Trawangan.
Day 2: GILI TRAWANGAN – GILI AIR – GILI MENO – GILI TRAWANGAN
Wake up in the morning to have breakfast at the hotel. Then arrive at the Gili Air Island for snorkelling, enjoy the turquoise, transparent sea around this tropical island while getting a great tan and having healthy fun. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After about 4 hours spent on Gili Air disembark to Gili Meno, the second-largest island. Explore the island cycling and then visit Turtle Sanctuary. Turtles have been in existence for over 150 million years. The purpose of the turtle sanctuary in Gili Meno is to save the turtle eggs from predators; permit them to hatch naturally and then to raise the young turtles for one year before releasing them safely into the sea. After your one day adventures, back to Gili Trawangan using a wooden boat to catch the sunset. On arrival transfer back to your hotel for overnight.

Day 4: GILI TRAWANGAN – SERANGAN/PADANG BAI – SOUTH BALI (25 km – 3.50 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and get on a transfer to catch the speed boat at 12.30 am back to Serangan or Padang Bay. On arrival direct transfer to the airport or your hotel in South Bali (we recommend you book your return flight no earlier than 5 pm or an extra night in South Bali).
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Indonesia. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting places of worship, religious or official buildings. Shoes should be removed before entering a temple or private house. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
