TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
Khaosok: scenic panoramic views, and a canoe trip down the river spotting the amazing flora and fauna.
Cheow Lan Lake: impressive limestone cliffs surrounded by evergreen rain forest jungle with various butterflies, exotic birds, squirrels, reptiles, etc.
Day 1: PHUKET OR KHAOLAK – KHAOSOK (300 km, 5hr)
Pick up from your hotel in Phuket at 07:00 am and transfer to Khaolak to visit the Khaolak viewpoint and the Tsunami Memorial Site. Drive ahead to Khaosok for a scenic panoramic view. Arrive at Khaosok and enjoy lunch at the resort. Join a Canoe trip down the river and spot the stunning flora & fauna and limestone Cliff Mountains along the river. Dinner will be served.
Overnight in Khaosok.
Day 2: KHAOSOK – CHEOW LAN LAKE (66 km)
Indulge in a delicious breakfast, and join a boat trip on Cheow Lan Lake. Lunch at a floating restaurant on the lake. In the afternoon get the bamboo raft to cross the 500 Rai Lake to explore the Pakarang Cave (Coral Cave) - the stalagmites have a similar shape to coral which gave the name to the cave. (Easy access and suitable for children). Spend about 30 minutes exploring the cave and its fantastic natural formations. Return to the pier by long-tail boat and transfer to the resort. Dinner will be served.
Overnight in Khaosok.
Day 3: KHAOSOK – PHUKET
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Phang Nga Bay. Stop on the way visit Bang Rieng temple. Continue to the pier to take a traditional longtail boat to Koh Panyee Island for lunch (included). Then continue to the famous James Bond Island. Drive to Phuket hotel or Phuket airport (recommended flight departure from Phuket after 10:00 pm).
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Thailand. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Shoes should be removed before entering a temple or private house. Good non-slippery walking shoes are essential. Bring protective, water-resistant bags for any electronic devices being taken during the trekking. Camera, sunblock lotion, sunglasses, suitable shoes, hat or cap, extra clothes & towel.
